How To Create Your Own Blog!

Hello my Neipchens!
Mrs. Isaacs here, and I wanted to explain how to make your own blog. We can work on the blogs at school, but, unfortunately, the firewall won't let me create blogs, and so below you'll find step-by-step instructions on making your blog.

If you are still confused and need help, bring me your email address and password. I'll take it home, and create a default blog and then we can work on the design of it at school. If you create a blog at home, please make sure that you know your URL, email address, and password so you can get on it at school to change things around. I'm working on a scroll widget with all of your blogs, so we must have a grab button for everyone and all the blogs set up before summer starts! :-)

How to create your own blog:
Make a gmail email address.
Click on the "Create a Blog" button on the top right corner of this blog. There you will be taken to
a page that looks like this:

That will take you to a page that looks like this:

  

The final step creates the blog. Remember, we need your URL, your email address and password in order to work on it here at school!

Exercise and American Obesity

In my opinion, obesity in America is at too high of a level. I see many Americans having trouble losing weight on TV, in my family, and some of my grown friends. In the past twenty years, obesity has doubled in adults and tripled for children. Most Americans don't exercise, and when they try and start they normally choose wrong exercises, like running, swimming, or jump roping. I see most sedentary people trying to run when their body needs to start out with something easier like speed walking, or simple light weights. When people choose to do too much too quickly they get discouraged and quit, which keeps them out of shape and unhealthy.

Play Like You're in the NBA!

NBA 2K12 is awesome. There are so many game modes such as: season, playoffs, NBA's greatest, and, the best, my player. When you play the my player mode, you get to make your own player. You get to make up the name, height, play style, and pick what shot you want. First, you play 3 games in the NBA combine. Then, if you play good enough, you get drafted. Once you've completed that level you play 4 games in the summer circuit. If you get good enough, you play in the NBA. 
I  give this game 5 jellybeans.

The South Rules!!!

The SEC is the best football conference in the world. The reason I think the SEC is the best in the world is because they have won six BCS games in a row. The teams in the SEC are Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Old Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Arkansas. If I was you, I would watch the SEC every time they play.

On Stranger Tides

If you liked the other three movies of Pirates of the Caribbean, you will like the fourth one On Stranger Tides. The characters Jack Sparrow and Hector Barbosa are in it, plus the new characters Angelica and her dad Black Beard. Too, there's also deadly mermaids, King George and Jack's dad. There are also two ships, The Queen Anne's Revenge and the Black Pearl. The Queen Anne's Revenge belongs to Black Beard. They are on a quest to find the fountain of youth so that Black Beard can live longer. But first they have to go to White Capped Bay to get a mermaid's tear. When they find the fountain of youth, Black Beard meets Barbosa and gets stabbed. The fountain is the only hope for surviving the stab wound. Will Black Beard live? Watch the movie to find out!

Mining for Fun!

Minecraft is an amazing survival/crafting/building game. It comes in four forms: Minecraft free pocket edition, Minecraft full pocket edition (priced $6.99), Minecraft free PC game, and Minecraft full PC game (priced at $26.99).

It is a first person builder game in which you can build anything! This game is perfect for people who love building, surviving, and crafting. I give this game 5 jellybeans

Hope for the Joke

UK football has not been the best in the west lately. In my opinion, Rich Brooks was a better coach than Joker Phillips. He went to some bowl games, and we haven't been to one since Phillips took the lead. Everyone knew that Brooks was a great recruiter, and it seems that Phillips is having a hard time competing with him in this area. I hope that this turns around soon, because I love to watch the cats win.

I Gotta Need for Speed!

Need for Speed the Run is latest video game in the Need for Speed. It has faster and better cars,  and way better tracks. I say that Need for Speed the Run is the best race car driving game ever, and  I give it 5 jellybeans

Minecraft Mania!

In my opinion, I think you should play Minecraft. It is awesome and very fun. You can play creative, survival or hardcore levels. Creative is for people who like to build, and they have unlimited supplies. Survival, you start with nothing and  have to gather supplies on your own. Hardcore is the most difficult because if you die you have to delete the whole island.

In Minecraft YOU ARE NOT ALONE! There are zombies, creepers, rats, silverfish, spiders, skeletons, and so much more. It only costs $26.95, and is available at minecraft.net.

Lego Land Fun!

If you like Legos and amusement parks, you should definitely try Lego Land in Florida! It has tons of rides like four roller coasters, and a giant carousel in the sky. I would recommend that you go through Mini land. It ranges from pirates to modern New York City. If you have a taste for adventure you should try the Land of Adventure. There's a car driving school, boating school, rescue academy, a safari, and live shows like Battle for Brick Beards Bounty and the Big Test. If you get hungry there's plenty of restaurants, and when you get hot cool off at a 4d movie. Also, there's plenty of shops too, you can't do it all in one day though. I give Lego Land Florida 5 jelly beans!

Chinchilla crazed!

In my opinion, Chinchillas are the cutest animals on earth. To me they look like little balls of fur. I also feel sorry for them because they are hunted for their fur so they can be turned into coats. Hunting chinchillas should be illegal.

The Hunger for the Games!

The Hunger Games is on of the best movies we have ever seen. My friend and I went to see the movie together and it was awesome. It's about 24 kids between the ages of 12-18. There is one girl and one boy from each district. They battle for their life and try to be the last one standing. You have to see the movie The Hunger Games and watch the shocking ending. Who will live? We give this movie 5 jelly beans!

Tom-a-holics

Toms are great shoes. They are so comfortable you could even run in them, they come in different styles like heels, and flats. For every pair of shoes sold here, the Toms company gives a pair of shoes to children in Africa. It makes you feel good when you give back just by buying a pair of shoes. We are the Champs!

This past week the Kentucky Wildcats won the NCAA basketball championship. Kentucky played hard  through out the basketball season. The only reason Kentucky won is because of Anthony Davis. In the final four, Kentucky won against Louisville. In my opinion, Louisville is a bad team. I think Kentucky was the best playing team in the world, even better than the pro team heat!

You Have to Stop This!

If you want a good read, you should read You Have to Stop This! It is my 7th favorite book. It has adventure, humor, and sadness. It talks about a hilarious narrator, a needy know-it-all, a read-headed survivalist, and a music crazed guitar playing Japanese boy. Find out at our library at school. I give this book 5 jelly beans
